Position: Buyer (Contract – 12 months & Renewable)
Location:Bendemeer (MSB)
Working Hour: Monday to Friday, 8am to 530pm
Job Responsibilities:
1.Handle procurement process
o Run Procure to Pay (P2P) process for capital, spares and services, not limited to delivery date follow up, cash flow maintenance, budgeting process, invoice reconciliation.
o Maintain timely delivery (OTD) to meet the network capacity requiremen
2.Identify and Implement Supplier-Related Savings Levers
o Apply data and should-cost models to drive cost improvement
o Serve as the subject matter expert for suppliers sharing knowledge with key partners
3.Drive Negotiations with4Suppliers for Sustaining Purchases
o Contract extensions and renewals
o Develop a contract strategy for handled suppliers and build, negotiate, monitor, and implement contracted terms and conditions
4.Ensure Supplier Performance Management
o Continuous improvement on Capacity and lead time
o Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers and supervise suppl
5.Identify and work on productivity improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Engineering or any related fields
- Experience in Procurement and dealing with Suppliers (sourcing background) will be advantage.
- Knowledge in SAP will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills preferred
