Job Responsibilities:
- Create a secure and quality learning environment for children through fostering trusting and respectful relationships with them.
- Support the holistic development of children through implementing a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum.
- Build partnerships with parents and families, and actively engages in centre initiatives to support its collaborative efforts with the community.
- Undertake the teaching of a class in accordance with the school’s agreed policies and guidelines.
- Responsible for all aspects of classroom management maintains a tidy, well-organised room.
- Collaborate with principal and teaching staff to establish and develop effective pupil assessment procedures and moderation portfolios.
- Provide planning documents identifying specific learning objectives, differentiated tasks, special needs, extension and assessment, to the Principal or other authorized officer.
- Guide, motivate and monitor assistant teachers in carrying out their tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching) or equivalent.
- With 1 - 3 years of teaching experience or willingness to acquire knowledge of inquiry based learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate and dedication towards children's learning
