Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for the planning and purchasing of all products to our principals and suppliers
- Assisting manager in quotations
- Creating and processing purchases in a timely manner
- Responsible for ensuring all purchases are in order and goods are being delivered to the company on a timely manner
- Responsible in negotiating with New Suppliers in Terms of Purchase
- Responsible for negotiating with Forwarders on the logistic of deliveries
- Work closely with the Sales Department in all Customer Orders and Deliveries
- Maintaining an accessible and organized filing system
- Maintaining a good method of consolidation of shipments
- Maintaining of inventory levels
Requirements:-
- At least at NITEC or its equivalent
- At least 1 to 2 years of prior experience in buyer position
- MUST be in related field
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail
- Possess excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork, but also able to work alone
- Knowledge in SAP will be an advantage
- Mature, independent, self-discipline, result-oriented, hardworking, honest and trustworthy
- Commands good written and spoken English and Mandarin
