- Prepare quality South Indian and north indian food for customers
- weigh, measure, mix and prepare ingredients according to recipes
- Steam, boil or fry meats, fish, vegetables and other ingredients
- Arrange and garnish dishes
- Work well under pressure and within time limits
- Ensure kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned
- Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparations positions
- Experience with hot and cold food preparations
- Good working knowledge of accepted sanitisation standards and health codes
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors etc
- Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment
