Public Area Attendant
5 days work week, 8 to 12 rotating shifts (inclusive of weekends)
Job Description & Requirements
- Work under the supervision of Housekeeping Manager
- Notify supervisors in the case of equipment malfunction, shortage of supplies or misuse of chemicals.
- Ensure Driveway, Lobby, Great Room, restrooms, and all public area cleanliness.
- Vacuums and polishes all areas and carpets.
- Keep the front of house free from trash and ensure all high touch points are sanitized as per hotel requirements.
- To perform and complete daily assigned tasks.
- Complying with hotel Lost and Found policy.
- Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled.
- Clean and maintain all equipment. Responsible for upkeep of all the equipment used.
- Responsible for maintaining and following a time schedule for cleaning and sanitizing of areas.
- Be aware of fire safety rules and hazards and inform supervisors of any injuries or assistance required.
- Ensure that cleanliness and sanitation levels are up to standard.
- May assist with other duties.
