Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time Lecturer specializing in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) development and instruction. As a part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and effective curriculum materials, delivering high-quality instruction, and supporting students in achieving their desired scores in the IELTS exam.
Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development:
- Design and develop comprehensive curriculum materials tailored to various proficiency levels, focusing on all sections of the IELTS exam (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
- Create lesson plans, activities, and assessments that align with IELTS test objectives and standards.
- Integrate authentic materials and resources to enhance learning outcomes and provide real-world language practice.
2.Instruction and Delivery:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Provide clear explanations, examples, and strategies to help students improve their English language skills and achieve their target scores.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success and growth.
3.Assessment and Feedback:
- Administer practice tests and mock exams to assess students' progress and readiness for the IELTS exam.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' performance, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
- Offer personalized guidance and strategies to address individual learning needs and goals.
4.Professional Development:
- Stay updated on IELTS exam trends, changes, and best practices in language teaching and assessment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certified IELTS Examiner qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in teaching IELTS preparation courses to diverse groups of learners.
- Strong understanding of the IELTS exam format, scoring criteria, and test-taking strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
