Our client is a renowned Engineering Firm looking for a Senior Finance Manager to sit in their Finance team.
The office is located in the West of Singapore.
This role reports to the VP Finance of the organization
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing the accounting functions, reviewing of reports, statistics detailing financial results.
- Establishing and maintaining the accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.
- Maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Reviewing the month end closing of accounts.
- Managing the preparation of the company's budget.
- Reviewing of monthly financial statements consolidation for the group.
- Forecasting of cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
- Reviewing the monthly consolidated accounts, quarterly and year end results announcement to SGX-ST and ensuring that they are in compliance with Singapore FRS and other statutory requirements.
- Reviewing of Annual Reports
- Overseeing both local and overseas subsidiaries, joint venture companies.
- Supervising professional and clerical accounting employees in daily operations.
- Performing of any other ad-hoc duties being assigned by your Superior.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or professional accounting qualifications
- Have at least of 8 years of working experience as an Accounting & Finance Profession with at least 3 years of Managerial experience managing a team
- Have Financial Management experience in shipyard/construction industry is desirable
- Handled full sets of accounts and knowledgeable in IFRS/SFRS, GST and MES will be at an advantage
- Consolidation experience would be highly preferable
