Maintain yard machineries, equipment and facility at optimum level without compromising safety and environmental conditions.
Responsibilties:
- Preparing and reviewing work schedules and preventive maintenance.
- Delegating work responsibilities.
- Setup, review and update the organizational procedures.
- Verifying daily maintenance activities and the quality of work.
- Reviewing maintenance reports according to maintenance plan.
- Monitor and review maintenance staff performance.
- Involve Facility and Maintenance activities and Decision Making.
- Ensures equipment availability is adequate to meet the project plan.
- Hiring new maintenance professionals.
- Engaging service providers and contractors for specialized works.
- Attend internal department meetings, safety committee meeting, operation meeting and client meetings.
- Execute internal pre-auditing and support internal, external audits.
- Motivate maintenance staff and plan for improvements.
- Upgrade maintenance staffs.
- Monitor of the worker overtime man hours and implement the necessary measures to control.
- Issue letters to contractors if equipment / machineries are damaged during contractor’s rental period. Damages to be back charge to contractors.
- To allocate and approve the yard storage space request for module fabrication works.
- To approve the purchase request of new spare parts & equipment’s.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of maintenance working experience in marine shipyard industry
- Hands on experience in welding machine and CNC plate cutting machine troubleshooting works
- Highly motivated individuals with good organizational skills and leadership skills.
- Able to adapt new work environment and able to lead independently.
