Our client, a Freight forwarding company, is looking for a Sales Manager. This role is mainly account management of existing clients (70%), building past connections with clients and business development (30%). This role will work closely with inside sales and customer support to service clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Construct a solid sales pipeline and follow through on plans to acquire new customers.
- Forecasting and setting sales targets to meet corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with teams to create unique selling points to attract and retain customers.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic customer relationships and networks.
- Review all submitted reports by lower rank staff to reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems.
- Prepare quotations and cost management.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors.
- Report to HQ Japanese Management on a regular basis.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics or Freight Forwarding company dealing with overseas shipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other operational software.
- Able to meet deadlines and can work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented / Flexible and logical thinker / Self-disciplined / Result oriented.
