As the HR Manager at Society of Sheng Hong Welfare Services, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment, implementing HR strategies, and ensuring the organization's compliance with Charities, Welfare Service Standards, and Institutions of a Public Character (IPC)regulations. The ideal candidate should bring a wealth of experience in HR management within the context of welfare services and IPC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Align HR Strategy with Organizational Goals:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that directly align with the overall objectives and vision of the organization.
- Ensure that HR initiatives contribute to achieving key business goals and enhance the company's long-term success.
Talent Acquisition and Retention Planning:
- Formulate comprehensive talent acquisition and retention plans to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Implement strategies to build a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the values and goals of the organization.
Employee Engagement and Well-being:
- Design and execute employee engagement programs that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Prioritize employee well-being initiatives, including health and wellness programs, to enhance job satisfaction and productivity.
Performance Management and Development:
- Implement effective performance management systems, including regular feedback, goal setting, and performance reviews.
- Develop strategies for continuous employee development, identifying skill gaps and facilitating training programs to enhance individual and team performance.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential HR-related risks, including legal and compliance issues.
Support to the Management Committee and Sub-Committee Meeting:
- Present to management monthly and quarterly reports on key HR indicators with analyses of key trends and recommendation.
- Provide secretarial support including recording of minutes of meetings and operational/administrative support to management as and when required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 05 years of progressive HR management experience, preferably in welfare services and IPC.
- Strong understanding of welfare service standards and IPC regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
