foodpanda’s fintech team’s mission is to unlock value by generating revenue beyond today’s payment foundation. At our core, we are the team executing multi-pronged strategies to optimize the performance of payments acceptance to provide the best end-user payment experience - be it via card or Alternative Payments Methods (APMs). Additionally, we are focused on building an ecosystem with beyond payment services across other Fintech initiatives. Our team is responsible for identifying market trends, customer needs, getting in touch with prospective partners, closing commercial deals, and rolling out projects while working closely with cross-functional teams such as Country Teams, Finance, Legal, Customer Care, Engineering & Product, etc.
We are looking for a team player who is passionate about payments with a good mix of tenacity and self-motivation. This individual will drive exploration into new realms of growth and opportunity in payments acceptance and optimization, propelling foodpanda's Fintech team forward in its next phase of value creation across APAC.
Responsibilities:
Ideation and Conceptualization: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, gather insights, and translate them into actionable Adtech product plans to monetize with the payment industry vertical.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams including partnership sales, marketing, product, and engineering, as well as in-country teams to ensure alignment and successful GTM launches.
Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends that inform the success of results of Adtech campaigns.
Sales Enablement: Develop and implement sales enablement programs and initiatives to empower the sales team with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to effectively engage payment industry prospects and close deals.
Commercial Awareness: Assess potential payment partners through a commercial lens, evaluating cost-saving opportunities, new revenue potential, and acquisition of new customers.
Drive accountability: Capture key updates to track and report progress towards goals and key results to provide regular updates across stakeholders.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organization by promoting transparency, open communication, and a focus on results.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to identify and document all system issues, bugs, and related issues accurately, ensuring comprehensive tracking and resolution.
Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to analyze system issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement solutions to resolve payment-related issues promptly.
