Role Responsibilities
- Ensure software applications and services are running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and duty rosters for teams to ensure personnel back up for maintenance of services, some of which are 24x7.
- Identify & understand business needs and provide solutions to address the needs.
- Gather, validate, and analyse requirements.
- Manage the project scope, schedule, cost, and resources.
- Develop user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct backlog refinement, impact analysis, and acceptance testing.
- Maintaining product backlog and roadmap. Prioritization of product solutions based on business value and customer impact.
- Ensure system or product readiness for smooth deployment, adoption, and operations.
- Ensures completion of documentation and filings to facilitate software development.
- Propose improvements to continuously address changing business needs.
- Constant engagement of stakeholders to align and manage expectations.
- Collaborate with the team on the product’s direction, roadmap, strategy and feature prioritization.
- Collaborate with team to conceptualize solutions and communicate to stakeholders.
- Monitor team members' work levels and review work performance.
- Facilitate the agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, sprint retrospective.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or an equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in project management or business analysis.
- Entrepreneurial drive to achieve stretch goals in an innovative fast-paced environment
- Prior working experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning design and testing.
- Knowledgeable of Agile methodology and design thinking.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with a high level of initiative.
- Able to engage stakeholders and manage their expectations
- Able to understand and interpret requirements leading to technical implementation
- A team-player who is resourceful, takes ownership, and is highly collaborative.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, data-driven, customer focused, and a quick learner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good documentation skills and business acumen.
- Can work with minimum supervision and is adaptive & open to change.
Preference
- Project Management (eg. PMP) or Agile (eg. CSM or CSPO) Certification.
- Business Analysis Certification (eg. Certified Business Analysis Professional)
- Use of Confluence and JIRA for managing projects collaboratively.
