Head (Data Transformation & Operations) - West: 2 Years Contract
Responsibilities
As a Head (Data Transformation & Ops), you are responsible to define, communicate and drive the execution of enterprise-wide data/AI/governance strategy as part of thetransformative effort.
To bolster the delivery of enterprise AI products, the incumbent will groom organic Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) engineering capabilities to shorten time-to-market delivery to force multiply operations and service deliveries.
The job-holder will collaborate with various teams (within and across respective teams) and is responsible to:
- Engage and drive data/AI/governance strategy
- Promote culture of governance compliance
- Uplift data/AI capabilities
- Identify data/AI product that could be proliferated to benefit the team
- Track and monitor progress of data science, AI & analytics projects
- Provide technical guidance and advisory services on governance related matters to various agencies
- Keep abreast of technological advances in Big Data Technologies, database designs and architecture and government policies & recommendations, etc
- Evaluate existing data governance framework and identify areas of non or partial compliance and rectify any issues
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements before pushing data-driven models to production
- Identify plausible risk mitigation measures to lower potential biasness generated from AI models
- Understand the various prevailing policies and security guidelines and to ensure the system and processes are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines.
- Expected to have supervisory duties as well, in managing a small team to deliver the above tasks.
- Be required to manage and supervise areas such as staff training, competency management and 360 feedback.
Job requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology / Science or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in strategic planning, data science & AI and related domains, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position.
