Assist the Associate Director/Manager, Credit Management in the monitoring and controls of credit risk arising from transactions of clients and Trading/Registered Representatives.
Job Responsibilities
The incumbent will:
- Recommend and review trading limits of clients and Trading Representatives;
- Monitor and manage trading exposure of clients and Trading Representatives;
- Follow up with Trading/Registered Representatives on margin calls;
- Perform periodic review of instruments;
- Follow-up on accounts with overdue contra losses/margin deficits including liaising with external legal counsel on legal proceedings against clients and Trading Representatives;
- Prepare management reports for routine reporting, monthly reports for Committee meetings;
- Assist in projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
- Able to work in shifts (6:30am – 4:00 pm, 8:30am – 6.00pm, 2:00pm – 11:30pm) and provide rotational coverage during Public Holidays
Job Requirements
To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have / be:
- Relevant tertiary degree in quantitative field or GCE ‘A’ level holder with at least 2 years’ experience in the Securities/Derivatives industry.
- Able to work in shifts (6:30am – 4:00 pm, 8:30am – 6.00pm, 2:00pm – 11:30pm) and provide rotational coverage during Public Holidays.
- Good spoken and written English and Chinese proficiency to liaise with our Chinese stakeholders
- Able to work under pressure and independently.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize works.
- Pleasant personality and have good communication skills.
- Relevant 2 years of industry experience will be an advantage.
