Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Driver cum Soft Furnishing Installer. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting soft furnishings such as curtains, blinds, and drapes to various locations and installing them according to client specifications.
Responsibilities
1. Safely and efficiently transport soft furnishings to designated locations.
2. Coordinate delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery.
3. Install soft furnishings at client sites with precision and attention to detail.
4. Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing client inquiries and concerns.
5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and installations.
6. Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
7. Collaborate with team members to streamline installation processes and improve efficiency.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and installing soft furnishings.
Requirements
1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a delivery or transportation role.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation instructions accurately.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
6. Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in the soft furnishings industry or similar field.
2. Knowledge of basic hand and power tools used in installation.
3. Familiarity with measuring and assessing window dimensions for accurate installation.
4. Previous experience working in a customer-facing role.
