SCOPE: CHIEF ENGINEER (SHIP)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for the entire technical operations of the engine room including engineering, electrical and machinery
- Responsible for the safety and well being of the engine department
- Execution of operation, maintenance, and repairs of main engine, aux. engines, and other machinery and equipment onboard;
- Keep records of running hours for major machinery for maintenance purposes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess Class 1 (Chief Engineer) Certificate of Competency
- Previous Experience as Chief Engineer for at least 5 Years onboard vessels of 750Kw apropulsion power or higher
- In Possedion of valid STCW Certificates
- Physically and Medically Fit for Service as per MLC
