The Audit Assistant operates in a structuredwork environment. He/She undertakes specificstages of audit work under supervision by theAudit Senior. He/She begins to appreciate theunderlying principles behind the tasks assignedto him/her as part of the audit plan. He/She isalso able to make adjustments to theapplication of skills to improve the work tasks orsolve non-complex issues. He/She is able tobuild relationships, work in a team and
identify ethical issues with reference to the codeof professional conduct and ethics. He/She isable to select and apply from a range of knowsolutions to familiar problems and takesresponsibility for his/her own learning and
performance.
