Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.00pm
Responsibilities:
- Check programs with our in-house machine tool Cad Cam system
- Perform DFM presentation and process proposal.
- Perform and assist in turnkey projects.
- Design jigs and fixtures for new projects.
- Generate multi-axis Cad Cam programming. (Turning, 5-axis simultaneous & SHAPES too path)
- Troubleshooting problems based on FA article evaluation.
- Develop showroom demos for different types of machines. I.e., Especial e670, i-400, i1500, j-200, IG300 mill-turn machines, variax630 five-axis CNC machine centre, VCS430-a four axis milling machine.
- Use UGNX CAD to model parts and CAM to generate the turning, milling and complex 5-axis simultaneously controlled NC tool-path for multi-task parts.
- Hands on operation on CNC machines to setup the demos and new machines run-off.
- Create UGNX postprocessor for machines.
- Familiar with machine option and machine parameter setting.
- Use different program ways and format according to the machine option and parameter setting.
- Help customers complete complex machining jobs through the UGNX CAD/CAM application.
- Provide EIA training for customers.
Requirements
- Proficient in MasterCAM (CADCAM) software and NX version 10
- Min 3-4 years’ experience in dealing with CNC machines
- Have experience as an Application Engineer in Manufacturing industry
