We are in search of a proficient and knowledgeable Transport Operations Manager to lead our transport and logistics division. The desired candidate will possess a solid track record in managing transportation with an emphasis on enhancing fleet efficiency, guaranteeing prompt deliveries and upholding adherence to regulatory standards.
1) Oversee the entire fleet operation, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, schedules are efficiently planned and routes are optimised for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
2) Ensure all transportation activities comply with local, national and international regulations & standards. Implement safety protocols for the fleet, warehouse operations and staff.
3) Manage warehouse logistics, including storage optimisation, inventory accuracy and coordination of inbound and outbound logistics.
4) Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance transportation and warehouse operations, focusing on scalability and supporting business growth.
5) Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation and warehouse operations, analyse data to identify trends or areas for improvement and report to senior management.
