Job Description
- Perform database routine operational and support activities for customers/projects.
- Assist application team to troubleshoot and fix or do service recovery on the issues reported in database PL/SQL applications.
- Assist DBA lead to collect or/and monitor the database usage statistics and alerts.
- Build monitoring programs or enhance database PL/SQL applications under the guidance/supervision of DBA lead.
Requirements
- 1 year or lesser database administration experience & support on Solaris/Unix/Linux environment. Knowledge on PL/SQL and shell scripting will be an advantage.
- Ability to work with customers and project teams on database routine operational and support activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix or do service recovery on the issues reported in database PL/SQL applications.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and a commitment to maintain optimum database system availability for customers.
