The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following roles and responsibilities:
- Supervise and handle full set of accounts (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Asset, Inventory);
- Prepare monthly management reports and analysis; 3. Prepare consolidated Group management reports and statutory reporting;
- Draw up annual budget and cash-flow forecast;
- Develop financial models, perform financial due diligence and evaluate potential M&A or investment projects which includes overseeing the deal process, negotiating commercial terms and supporting any other business development;
- Provide guidance to overseas business units in preparation of budgets, analysis and reporting of financial results;
- Guide and coach internal stakeholders to improve and streamline process workflow, internal controls and compliance and;
- Undertake special projects as and when assigned.
The successful candidate should preferably possess the following:-
- At least a bachelor’s degree with post graduate/ professional qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or Law;
- Strong knowledge and experience in Group Consolidation and Reporting, IFRS accounting and reporting is highly valued;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Investment, Finance, Accounting, Tax or Audit;
- Good knowledge in corporate finance, end-to-end M & A activities and structuring will be an added advantage;
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Possess strong business acumen and a flair for financial modelling, planning and analysis and problem solving;
- Demonstrate leadership and people management skills;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, written and spoken negotiation skills; and
- Committed and self-driven individual with good stress management.
