Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Executive who specializes in Sales and Marketing with a primary focus on account management and a secondary focus on new business acquisition. This role involves maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients (70% of the role) and identifying and securing new clients and distributorships (30% of the role). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and distributor management, with the ability to balance nurturing existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management (70%):
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct regular review meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide clients with ongoing product support and coordinate with internal teams to meet client needs.
- Analyze account performance, identify trends, and develop strategies to maximize profitability and sales growth.
- Manage contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations.
2. New Business Development (30%):
- Identify and target potential new clients and markets to expand the company’s footprint.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new accounts and distributorships.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and promotions that attract new clients.
3. Distributorship Management:
- Manage and support distributor relationships to ensure they align with company strategies and goals.
- Provide training, resources, and support to distributors to maximize their performance and sales outcomes.
- Monitor distributor performance, providing feedback and strategies to improve sales and market penetration.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare detailed reports on account status, new business development activities, and distributor performance.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
5: Social Media Management
- Assist in reposting collaterals on social media platforms as part of marketing efforts
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and account management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
