Responsibilities
o Responsible for understanding the business objectives and translating the business requirements into IT solutions
o Evaluate new Voice & Collaboration technologies to better improve efficiencies
o Experience in the design, implementation, transformation, troubleshooting and support of technologies including VOIP, IPT, collaboration tools, Audio/Video Conferencing
o Proven experience of design, delivery, and transformation of IPT/UC environments
o Responsible for providing technical leadership across the IT organization in support of the IP Telephony initiatives
o Develop and support the Voice & Collaboration strategy across the global organization
o Work with colleagues in other technology and business groups to understand technology and business requirements
o Work with peers to define the overall strategic direction for the collaboration solutions
o Create, architect & develop solutions to complex technical, procedural, and logistical problems
o Provide training and new technology overview to engineering colleagues
o Develop, document and update standards documentation
o Final technical escalation point for IP Telephony suite of products
Required Skills and Experience
o Strong technical expertise required in the following areas:
o Cisco – (CUCM, UCCE/CVP)
o Connection and Voice related protocols (SIP, RTP/SRTP, SDP, MGCP,
SCCP etc.)
o SIP/PSTN Design and Voice Gateway Configuration
o Detailed knowledge and understanding of telephony/UC protocols, H323, SIP, T38, TLS and Codecs
o NICE & Cloud Voice Recording Solutions
o Experience of IP subnetting, switching and routing protocols
o Remote access solutions and virtual meeting platforms
o FoIP & Trader Voice
o Management of 3rd party suppliers
o 8-10 years’ experience in the Voice & Collaboration field
o High-level certification in a major technology area preferred (CCIE)
o Demonstrated ability to work under intense pressure when resolving complex issues with strict deadlines
o Strong written, communication and presentation skills
o Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the team members and superiors
o Global mindset and visionary
o Ability to lead and execute large, complex projects related to new technology
integration
o Project management skills: ability to lead large projects
o Programming skills (UNIX shell, python)
o Problem Management: proactive and forward thinking to identify and manage incidents.
