About Our Client
Our client is an established firm, looking to on-board a Director of Cyber Security Operations. This position entails overseeing a team of cybersecurity experts.
Job Description
As the Director of Cybersecurity Operations, your responsibilities include:
- Leading daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring prompt detection and response to security events and incidents
- Leading a security team and providing mentorship
- Building good relationships with external vendors, service providers, and collaborators to guarantee prompt provision of security services
- Budgeting and resource management
The Successful Applicant
As a Successful Candidate, you will have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity positions, with a focus on managing SOC or security operations
- Previous experience in team leadership
- Proficiency in working with enterprise-level solutions and projects
- Certification in CISSP/CISM or an equivalent qualification
