- Overseeing the complete accounting functions for assigned schools/entities, including the preparation of monthly management accounts with variance analysis, supporting schedules, and reports.
- Managing audit and tax obligations, inter-company recoveries, and bank reconciliations.
- Supervising inter-company billing, month-end schedules, and the filing of GST returns.
- Tracking and addressing outstanding receivables.
- Managing funding requirements and ensuring adequate funds are available for operational cash flow.
- Generating regular cash flow forecasts.
- Handling staff claims, procurement, petty cash, and miscellaneous sales.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborating with stakeholders on expense review and control, cost management, and budgeting.
- Engaging with parents regarding receivables, feedback, and special requests.
- Supporting school projects and driving process improvements.
- Providing guidance to school colleagues on company procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in related industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently and a good team player
