New Product Analysis
- Initial and deployment quality strategic plan in the new product/process development
- Analysis product and process data to identify areas for improvement
- As a key player in review, analyse daily process issues and drive for process and yield improvement
- Perform the Ppk / Cpk study to identify the area for improvement, setup of product control
- Work with the engineering team at the early product development phase to better understand new products
Client quality feedback management
- Need to ensure/assess actions’ effectiveness of new product as well as mass product defect feedback. And follow up the customer returns and rework needed
- Perform initial failure analysis on customer-returned samples. Manage customer complaints & implement effective corrective/preventive actions to eliminate re-occurrence of complaints. Closely work with the other functional team, to provide timely 8D-resolution to close complaints within set timeframe
- Manage Quality Performance review with clients and agreed periodic reporting
Customer audits and continuous improvement
- Verify the effectiveness of the solution and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve set objectives
- Organize, and prepare within functions of the organization for the customer audit. Follow up on the audit findings and ensure timely closure of the corrective and preventive actions
- Visit customer site for field investigation and gather information for determining the cause of the problem
- Support the third-party audit /ISO audit if required
Job requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Material Science, Quality Assurance or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in quality capacity
- Relevant experience on QC core tools, 8D reporting, knowledge of ISO 9001 / TS 16949 and QMS auditing experience
- Basic G&T, statistical tools (e.g. minitab)
