Our client is a Global Manufacturing MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Staff Engineer, Optics to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing and metrology processes for organisation efficiency and capability enhancement.
- Procure and optimize new manufacturing and metrology equipment.
- Lead projects to improve organisation’s manufacturing and metrology capabilities, identifying risks and implementing solutions.
- Provide support during pilot and production phases, including training and issue resolution.
- Supervise department engineers, guiding them in continuous improvement projects.
- Manage non-standard RFQs, advising on resource allocation and exceptions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to align expectations and develop solutions.
- Coordinate with Operational Excellence initiatives for continuous improvement alignment.
- Support engineers and technicians in resolving manufacturing issues and improving quality.
- Participate in training and contribute to relevant publications.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor or Master in Engineering relevant equivalent field of study.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in process engineering
