ROLE OVERVIEW
The Group Operations Director at Mandala Club is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations, business initiatives and projects which entails close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, in consultation with direct supervisor. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.
KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES
Strategic
● Act as the strategic support to the COO, in executing the day-to-day business operations, implementation of initiatives, brainstorming and achieving business goals.
● Lead on strategic planning & business development for Apex Retail which aims at driving incremental revenue, expense management and operational efficiencies.
● Explore and develop new business opportunities along with the COO, through conducting active market research and brainstorming with various stakeholders.
● Liaise with internal stakeholders to establish close synergy and collaboration which leads to more efficient operations and revenue opportunities.
Business Development and Financial
● Support the COO on brainstorming, planning, presentation and execution of business operations initiatives and projects, which entails project management and coordination with various stakeholders.
● Work with COO and Department heads to set strategic business goals and workplan for each department to dovetail with the company’s overarching goals.
● Works with the COO to formulate short- and longer-term business plans and performance targets/indicators for the respective department, to achieve optimal operational efficiency, cost savings and guest satisfaction.
● Perform financial analysis and business reporting to facilitate business decisions.
● People and Cross Departmental Functions
● Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Departments in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, marketing strategies, and trade promotion programs to achieve revenue growth.
● Provide leadership guidance, development and coaching to team members and encourage individual development especially amongst Direct Reports.
