Singapore Phenome Centre (SPC) is one of the research centres in LKCMedicine. SPC is hiring a Senior Scientific Officer to generate metabolomics data for phenotyping experiments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct NMR related projects
- Assist Principal Investigator in structure elucidation
- Metabolite extraction from clinical and environmental samples
- Analyze clinical and environmental samples using NMR
- Operate UPLC-QTOF, UPLC-TQ and NMR for metabolomics using standard operation protocol
- Writing project reports and any other tasks as assigned by the reporting officer
Requirements:
- Candidates should have a PhD/Master degree in analytical chemistry with emphasis in NMR technology
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team player
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are critical
- Strict adherence to confidentiality policy and research ethics
This is a 2 years contract appointment.
