Responsibilities

  • Risk management of key projects in execution and delivery phases
  • Responsible for financial tracking and resource management of the overall team to ensure business efficiency
  • Deep understanding of the clients' and agency's business, able to provide financial counsel to clients, establish revenue & profitability objectives and plans to meet them
  • Shape and drive direction of the agency and client businesses
  • Entrepreneur mentality to drive growth within the agency, spotting opportunities to grow business streams organically Responsible for managing client relationship health, client satisfaction, and sustained YOY client retention of designated clients
  • Lead and resolve process and operational issues internally and externally with Clients
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with C-suites - client and agency partners
  • Provide financial counsel to clients, establish revenue & profitability objectives and plans to meet them
  • Partner to Strategy and Creative Leads on the business, responsible for challenging and delivering best in class effective and creative solutions for all clients
  • Driver of synergy : Results oriented in both business and creative output
  • Inspire the team through recent award winning works/industry best practices especially relevant to the client industry
  • Responsible for building culturally resonant brands that enable business growth
  • Use digital and social to provide a sharp marketing perspective and add strategic value at every step of the creative process
  • Successfully manage people and create opportunities for growth and development throughout team
  • Clear knowledge and understanding of team's individual capability, strength and gaps
  • Role model leadership, provide leadership and professional development to internal team
  • Take calculated risks and agility in responding to the changing external landscape
  • Strengthening credibility and networks i.e. leveraging you personal branding, contributing to forums/discussions within the agency and the community at large

Job Specifications

1. Knowledge and Experiences Required

  • Minimum 10-15 years' experience in the advertising industry
  • Understanding of the overall business operations, needs, challenges and objectives
  • Leadership experience in managing an account servicing team
  • A proven track record of previous success, as well as a determination to continue to succeed
  • Sound financial planning and budget management experience
  • Experience working within a business development role within an agency or similar organisation
