Job Description
As a vital member of the team, the Business Development Executive collaborates closely with internal laboratory and hedging teams to propel business expansion. Key duties include pinpointing new business prospects, nurturing client connections, and contributing strategic endeavours to enhance organization’s overall prosperity.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire precious metals including Gold & Silver within Singapore and evaluate purchasing decisions with a focus on cost efficiency to ensure that all business transactions are profitable for the company.
- Prepare proposals to customers according to the calculation methods for the precious metals.
- Monitor industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to understand the latest market developments. Make comparisons with the company's services to identify areas for improvement or differentiation, potential business opportunities and threats.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to expand existing accounts.
- Document and monitor all trade deals to ensure prompt delivery of subject metals, as well as ensure payment and collection by the due date.
- Work with the marketing team to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
- Cultivate relationships with new customers to secure business opportunities.
- Update the CRM system with supplier, business leads information and follow-up status.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Business Operations Manager on activities, targets and performance.
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma & above.
- Possess Class 3 driving license.
- Knowledge of using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal) to ensure seamless communication with our Chinese stakeholders.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with similar capacity in recycling or adjacent industries preferred.
