We are seeking consultant engineers who are experienced in the design commercial buildings, major infrastructure transportation projects and mixed-use developments specifically focusing on the fields of mechanical engineering and building services.
Responsibilities
Perform engineering duties such as design, engineering calculations, planning, tender preparation/evaluations to as part of the engineering project team
- QA/QC documentation review of engineering deliverables- Liaison with clients, project managers, architects, contractors, cross disciplinary engineers as required to carry out the works
- Resolve any technical problems faced during project design and/or construction stages
- Other ad-hoc duties that are required
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience- Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field with minimum 5+ years of related working experience in consulting engineering role
- Engineering design of commercial buildings, major infrastructure transportation projects and mixed-use developments
- Candidates must have design experience and good understanding in the following technical systems and procedures:- Potable and non-potable- Water supply and distribution systems including plumbing, domestic hot and cold water, flushing water,- irrigation, water and rainwater, and sewer/wastewater- Drainage including sewer and roof drainage- Rainwater harvesting systems- Solar heating systems- Water and drainage Infrastructure design- All associated load and sizing calculations and equipment selections such as pumps, filters, tanks, pipes etc.Develop, design through establishing, design briefs, design reports, calculations, schematics, schedules, specifications

Productions of drawings and developing models

Knowledge- Safety in design principles and approaches- Knowledge of Engineering Design Codes and standards to include ASME, BSI, ISO, IEE, ASHRAE, ASRE, LEED, ASTM, ANSI, IBC, IMC, CIPSE- Following standards and regulations would be an advantage ACI, IATA, ICAO, GCAA- Understanding of Environmentally Sustainable Design principles- Understanding of the principles of low energy design- Knowledge of project management and scheduling would be advantageous- A broad understanding of building/construction/facility issues and the associated safety and environmental implications- General awareness of legal requirements for safety & health and of national standard for quality (e.g. ISO9001) Understanding of BIM LODs and digital delivery- Highly IT competent with experience of using Microsoft 365 packages, AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, BIM 360 etc.
