Job Description:
- Unix Administrator with a focus on AIX and Red Hat Linux administration.
- Using languages: Ansible and shell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
- Using middleware platforms: IBM WAS, JBoss, and MQ.
- Configuration management and automation tools.
- Use system monitoring tools and techniques.
- Analyse and solve problems
- Work independently or in a team.
- Stakeholder management
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirement:
- Proven experience as a Unix Administrator with a focus on AIX and Red Hat Linux administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible and shell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
- Experience with middleware platforms such as IBM WAS, JBoss, and MQ is highly desirable. - Sound knowledge of configuration management and automation tools.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus.
- Degree in IT related disciplines
