- Ensure positive public relations by guaranteeing that the hard services team offers courteous service to clients.
- Collaborate with the human resources department to address any HR or manpower issues.
- Manage and oversee the hiring of manpower including but not limited to engineers, technicians, or other general laborers related to the project.
- Participate in meetings (on-site or off-site) with the internal or external parties to communicate local codes, procedures, or other related affairs.
- Maintain ongoing and effective communication with the Property Manager, Building Operations Manager, and other relevant staff regarding site operations.
- Manage the project budget, monitor project scheduling, and time reporting.
- Stay updated on building, fire, and life safety code requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain building equipment, consistently conduct internal investigations, and assist with external investigations if required.
- Assist in overseeing daily operations, including but not limited to M&E works, facilities management, building maintenance, etc.
- Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to manage assigned projects.
- Perform Night Work duties when necessary.
- Ensure that contractors perform their services as per agreed KPIs.
- Manage expenditures, address to operational and administrative issues, and ensure procedures are carried out properly.
- Recommend, justify, and follow through on the variation of work orders.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly project progress reports as defined by the Management and the client.
- Prepare a clear recommendation with respect to the Project’s quality, cost, and time requirements and limitations.
- Perform project management work in building repairs and replacement and additional and alteration works.
- Conduct project meetings with Consultants, Contractors, Clients, etc.
- Coordinate closely with Contractors/ Sub-Contractors or site teams to ensure delivery of result.
- Work with multi-disciplinary Consultant to ensure project works complete on-time.
- Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering/Building/Facilities Management or relevant disciplines
- Min 5 years relevant work experience in the Facilities Management industry
- Experience in Planning, Management, Technical & Contractual skills will be an advantage.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Due to the nature of the projects, night duty will be expected to be carried out from time to time as assigned by the Management.
- Immediate availability will be advantageous.
