Key Responsibilities:
Management
1) People Management - Leads and manages an on-site technical team of 5 to 10 people by being available on-site (e.g. daily stand-up) and providing guidance on IT Operations Management.
2) Productivity Analysis - Analyses workload such as backlog, incident, service request, change request, ad-hoc, meetings, work-hours, etc and communicate productivity to internal and external stakeholders. Negotiate priorities and resources if needed.
3) Customer Facing – Primary point of contact for customer. Understand the agreed scope of work and manage customer expectations. Notify Service Manager of any opportunities or commercial matters.
4) Reporting - Prepares and provide IT operational status for monthly meetings and quarter SteerCo meetings.
Technical
5) Design, deploy, and manage Windows-based infrastructure to support critical business applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
6) Monitor regular and day to day operations of the Team related to Server, Systems, Network and Infra.
7) Have hands on and good knowledge of Server, Systems, Network and storage & virtualization.
8) Implement security best practices, including regular system updates, Team operations management.
9) Conduct performance tuning and optimization to achieve optimal resource utilization and responsiveness.
10) Manage Windows-based server infrastructure, performing regular updates, and system optimizations.
11) Oversee Design and implementation of network configurations, enhancing overall connectivity and performance.
12) Conduct system audits and implemented security best practices to ensure data protection and compliance.
Requirements:
1) Singaporean only.
2) Activity Based Costing Accounting
3) Good understanding of IT infrastructure management and systems on-premise and on-cloud.
4) Good understanding of virtualization and back-up systems.
5) Experience in ITSM/ITOM and tools such as ServiceNow and/or RemedyForce.
6) Knowledge on Nutanix (preferred)
