Our client is an International Flavors & Fragrances Chemical company searching for a Purchasing Manager for their business.
You will play a pivotal role in purchasing, inventory management and supply chain and logistics management for the company.
This position requires a dynamic individual who is proactive and proficient in negotiation with principals and suppliers, so someone with a commercial flair or leadership qualities would be ideal. You will be responsible for ensuring that the sales forecast can be supplied as well as managing the procurement of existing and new materials while reviewing the demand forecast, management of government licenses and managing 3PL vendors to achieve business needs.
Someone who has managed a team before would also be held in high regard.
The ideal candidate would be a candidate who has relevant experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain management in the Specialty Chemicals/Flavors and Fragrances industry.
