Job Description

Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

Working Location: Tuas Crescent (company transport pick-up at Choa Chu Kang and Boon Lay)


Job Role and Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will:
  • Perform daily purchasing routines, ensuring materials are from approved vendors and ensure timely processing and release of purchase orders
  • Negotiate purchasing contracts and identify new potential suppliers
  • Lead in freight and contract negotiation and improve on price, payment terms and services, and ensure all agreements are in compliance
  • Handle logistics and warehouse activities including inventory and shipment management
  • Ensure that work tasks are aligned to company/division policies
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in relevant work functions.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Good interpersonal skill, communication skills and phone/email etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge in MS office applications and Netsuite System.
  • Good team player with a positive attitude
