Responsibilities and Skills Required
The Network team is looking to recruit an Delivery Manager to join our network service delivery team. Your goal is to manage multiple projects across network towers including data center transformation, cloud services migration, lifecycle management, client migrations and the transition to SD-WAN. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a global organization and participate in the deployment of the next generation network architecture. Ideal candidates will have well-rounded knowledge of network and security technologies and excellent project management skills.
Responsibilities
o Planning and delivering large scale projects across network technologies
o Managing a variety of network projects from lifecycle to data center migrations
o Managing the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning through to implementation
o Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget
o Ensure projects are delivered in a structured way, continuously enhancing process and delivery
o Create and maintain project documentation & governance procedures
o Review and update risks and issues
o Resource management
o Managing suppliers and stakeholders
o Collaborate with team on new ideas and process improvement to help deliver projects more efficiently
Required Skills and Experience
o Good technical understanding of Network, Security and Voice solutions
o Project Management background with specific experience managing network projects
o Previous experience of delivering projects in structured manner, improving process and overall delivery
o Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
o Strong customer service skills
o Demonstrated ability to work under intense pressure when resolving complex issues with strict deadlines
o Strong written, communication and presentation skills
o Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the team members and all levels of management
o Ability to lead and execute large, complex projects related to new technology integration
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desired
o 10 years of experience in project delivery
o 6 years of experience in the network field
o Desirable skills include Project Management Certification (Prince 2, PMP)
