Job Description and Responsibilities
- Handle full spectrum of order processing including shipping documentations and L/C negotiations.
- Ensure efficient order and shipment fulfilment.
- Work closely with various departments, suppliers and logistics service providers.
- Liaise with clients on shipments issues.
- Track deliveries to ensure timely delivery and cost effectiveness.
- Assist to plan for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Any other administrative duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Superior.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Min 2 years of relevant working experience in logistics / shipping related industry.
- Well versed in custom, export permits and regulatory requirements.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively both verbal and written with all levels.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Possess critical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player and able to work independently when needed.
- Possess a positive attitude, meticulous and organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Words and Excel.
- Good knowledge on ERP system would be an added advantage.
