- Implementation of safety, security, environmental systems for fleet vessels assigned, including digital transformation, development, maintenance, and reviews.
- Plan and conduct of internal and external audits in relation to the management system, and identification of opportunity for continuous improvements, and the implementations;
- Plan and conduct of office internal and external audits, keep abreast with the industry development and operational demands, and to ensure compliance of applicable regulations, and observance of best industry practices.
- Forms an important of crisis management meeting, exercises to ensure readiness of the fleet as well as group functions.
- Conduct investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify the root causes, lessons learnt, and practical measures to prevent from enterprise level.
- Participate in safety, security, environmental projects to advance the group’s performance.
- Works closely with the divisional head to advise the Top Management on safety, security, environmental strategies.
- Project management with deep understanding of marine operation, safety, security, and environment, as well as the fast changing regulatory frameworks at enterprise level.
Qualifications and Experience
- Sailing experience as master on board foreign going worldwide service, or CoC Class 1 with considerable experience (not less than 5 years) in the same field.
- ISM/ISPS/MLC/ISO auditor
- Project management experience
- Proven record of investigations conducted
