Job Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis and design of AOCS sub-system to meet system requirements.
- Specify, evaluate, and manage AOCS suites of sensors and actuators.
- Design and implement algorithms and software to support various pointing modes and attitude control scenarios.
- Perform integration and testing of AOCS hardware and software modules.
- Develop test plans and procedures for the verification of AOCS performance by software simulation and hardware-in-the-loop validation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for spacecraft AOCS architecture, design, and development.
Job Requirements:
- Expertise in control and estimation algorithms (continuous as well as discrete)
- Good knowledge of the sensor and actuators used for satellite attitude control.
- Proficient with Python, Matlab, C/C++ programming.
- Ability to carry out the flight software design, implementation, integration and testing on embedded platforms
- Experience in the development of large-scale and complex systems
- Good knowledge of satellite’s orbit mechanics and experiences in using tools like STK, GMAT, Orekit
