Job Responsibilties
- Responsible for overall application development, customization and configuration of Hexagon's Smart 3D, SmartSketch
- Setting up and administration of multi-discipline detailed design projects using SP3D (Smart Plant 3D CAD database) and other 3D tools
- Define and apply security groups’ permissions
- 3D Symbol Development
- Load and Customize Hangers and Supports
- Customization of new Name rule
- Custom command development
- SQL and Oracle Server Expertise
- Create procedures and functions in SQL
- SQL report customization for catalogue and Model
- Integration between S3D and SPPID (Smart Plant P & ID database) and other 2D to Structural Macros development for different types of connections
- Isogen customization and configuration
- New View style development
- Prepare and load SP Items
- Prepare and load Instruments
- Setup SPR (Smart Plant Review) / DGN (drawing / deliverable format derived from Micro Station Software) Export reports
- Setup 3D Reference models
- Setup of IFC (Issued For Construction) codeless rules and customization
- User Training for SP3D
- Database maintenance
- Database integrity
- Create new custom Interference
- Schedule daily backup and reports
- Must be aware about MDR (Master Document Register)
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Graduate Degree in Engineering with 10 years of experience
- Skills required for this job are typically acquired through working on a similar position and at least 10+ Years of SP3D (Smart Plant 3D CAD database) development experience
- Smart Plant 3D, Smart Sketch, Smart Plant Review and other associated S3D application and customization and development, Micro Station, AutoCAD
- Possess Leadership & decision making skills
- Good communication skills, Strong facilitation, analytical and design skills - problem solver
- Ability to prioritize and organize support activities and deliver multiple tasks
- Personable, confident with excellent communication skills
- Experience of other BIM packages, Oracle DB, Visual Basic DB advantageous
