We are currently looking for a Solution Architect to join our Data & Enterprise Architecture team in the IT department. This is a permanent and full-time position, based either on our Asia Campus in Singapore or on our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.
The Solution Architect will analyse the current state of the enterprise environment from a technical and functional point of view. He/she will develop and design the future state architecture and the roadmap to reach it, balancing risks in terms of timeline and costs while meeting business requirements and enabling capability. The Solution Architect will devise technical or functional solutions to achieve enterprise and business objectives, this effort will consistently align with the IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Support large project implementation: (1) Formulate the solutions in which business and IT viewpoints are synthesised into a solution. (2) Develop the digital interoperability for new platforms to embed the INSEAD eco-system (3) Setup the plan for state-of-the-art operationalisation and maintenance of the new platform.
• Develop continuous integration & delivery practices in IT. Work out the best possible optimisation and automation of tasks and process(es), costing time and energy to the organisation.
• Formulate the architecture strategy and govern it: (1) Develop and communicate architectural standards (2) Add architecture consideration into business discussions to develop roadmaps and implementation plans considering a sustainable IT portfolio. (T.I.M.E from Gartner)
• Understand the enterprise needs and anticipate a major technology shift from the industry. This encompasses the need to educate/ inform the IT and school senior leadership about it so they can better prepare for the near future. It means driving the cost versus benefits, risks, impact, and technology priorities.
We are looking for a hands-on candidate who meets the following profile:
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with application development.
• Expert with DevSecOps practices. Hand’s on with suite of CI/CD platforms and utilities.
• Track record of enterprise architecture application (certify TOGAF is a plus).
• Expertise in process design as well as Data modelling (certify ArchiMate is a plus).
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Oracle Cloud and ServiceNow is a plus.
• Demonstrated polished consulting skills with a keen awareness of sensitive client topics, and the ability to navigate client messaging and recommendations tactfully.
• Proven ability to establish credibility with Senior Executives, team members and external partners, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for managing large and small projects.
• Strong prioritization skills with attention to detail, and the capability to quickly define dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans against risks.
• Effective communication skills bridging technology and business communities, with a consistent track record of business-building successes.
• Enthusiasm for exploring unknown technological territories and a strong technical curiosity to understand how things work.
