Candidates applying for the role is expected to perform, but not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Support sales team on technical queries during sales pitch meetings or pre-sales technical discussions.
- Provide technical support to marketing team during exhibitions and marketing events.
- Support sales & marketing during demonstration of how the solution can meet needs of prospective clients.
- Supports sales team’s engagement with clients to assess technical requirements and business challenges.
- Ensure that complete proposal request package is received from sales/account managers.
- Collaborate with engineering & solution designer to generate proposal.
- Follow up with sales team on the update for each proposal submission.
- Follow up with proposal revisions when requested by potential client.
- Conduct thorough pre-sales site surveys to gather relevant information for proposal validation and cost planning.
- Collaborate with the sales & project team to generate Bills of Materials (BOM) from proposal drawings and estimate cost of deployment.
- Collaborate with sales and client to design proof-of-concept installation to validate effectiveness of proposed solution.
- Train sales team on technical aspect of solution to ensure internal alignment and improve efficiency of communication with client.
- Ensure alignment with technical capabilities of engineering team to tailor/customise solution to meet client’s needs.
- Staying up to date with direct or indirect competitor’s offering.
- Conducting analysis/calculation/write-ups to present benefits of the company’s solution
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 3 years experience is required in MEPS project management with relevance to ACMV.
- Basic proficiency in CAD and modelling software, specifically AutoCAD, Revit & Inventor.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, specifically thermodynamics & fluid mechanics an added advantage.
- Prior experience in customer relationship management and solution presentation or demonstration.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills, systemic thinking and reasoning, with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
- Travel Requirement
- This position may require occasional travel to various ASEAN countries and outstation locations as an essential part of the job responsibilities. The frequency and duration of travel may vary depending on project needs and business requirements.
