Prestige Arts Pte. Ltd., a curator of Fine Arts is seeking for a Project Management Manager to join their Art Studio to provide support in the lead-up and execution of coming exhibitions at their art gallery. As a key person to the company, you will be working independently to source for art pieces and Artists; and manage projects and programs set out by the company’s stakeholders.
You will be working on:
- Forging new partnerships to provide opportunities for ASIAN Artists to gain exposure and grow Singapore’s reputation as a hub for Fine Arts and Culture
- Keeping abreast of international trends and developments to contribute ideas towards programs and industry development
- Raise potential queries or challenges to the relevant party/vendors and assist in problem solving, project management, relationship management within parties
- Ensure smooth operational running of projects during the project period
- Provide consultation or exhibition space look and feel, curating the best structure and flow for the theme/artworks display, overseeing conceptualization and installation
Requirements:
- Contextual and historical knowledge in ASIAN Fine Arts, certificate in such discipline will have great advantage
- Background/experience co-exhibiting and liaising with various artists, arts groups and stakeholders
- Bachelors’ Degree in Arts, person with a background in contemporary art and has experience working with different mediums will have an added advantage
- Min. 8 years’ experience working as a Designer with hands on experience in designing commercial space, art galleries, exhibition spaces etc.
- At least 5 years’ experience in full-cycle Project Management
- Possess excellent communication skills and comfortable managing artists from all over the region
