What the role involves:
- Source for and retain new business with potential customers
- Portfolio management to ensure account profile have a good mix of targets to support company sales strategy
- Maintain strong business relationships with customers for customer retention
- Respond to rates quotation request from network offices for RFQs
- Create and compile sales tender / bid, review pricing with Sales and business units
- Monthly update and maintain the pricing database
- Timely Update and reporting into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Follow up on the tender result on submitted bids
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma preferably in Logistics/Transportation/Supply Chain or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in logistics/supply chain
- Communicate effectively with Japanese Stakeholders (local team, Regional Headquarters and Global Headquarters) as well as with Japanese speaking clients for effective rapport building
- Must be able to work efficiently and timely to ensure deadlines are met
- Strong analytical, planning, organizing skills and meticulous
