Key Responsibilities
- To lead the overall API and OKTA team which include leading application design, creation, coding, debugging, and testing.
- Responsible for planning, designing, and reviewing the construction of APIs and leading OKTA.
- Responsible for leading the team into developing high-quality and detailed project requirements and ensuring timely delivery.
- To ensure the team is following the organisation coding standards and best practices to ensure quality deliverables.
- Responsible for keeping track of and structuring various tasks within the team.
Requirements
Experience
- At least 7 years of development experience in Java.
- Minimum of 5 years as a Technical Lead.
- Minimum of 3 years of AWS experience
- Minimum of 3 years OKTA experience
- Strong in Spring/Spring Boot framework.
- Strong in RDBMS such as MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle and NoSQL like Redis.
- Experience in implementing web services such as SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Have implemented custom frameworks such as security and validations related to OAuth and JWT.
- Strong in building tools Git, Maven/Gradle and containers like Docker.
- Experience in batch processing implementations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies.
- Advanced understanding of software testing methodologies, scripting and tools.
- Minimum experience of three or more full SDLC for web application projects.
- With good work attitude, dedication and ability to work effectively in a team and with client.
Education
- Academic: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science
- Professional Certification(s): AWS certification (preferred)
