Established in 2019, Serenity Resources Pte Ltd is a leading commodity trading firm headquartered in Singapore. Specializing in trading oil products, chemical products, and non-ferrous metals, the company also engages in derivative products, hedging transactions, risk management, and supply chain financing. In September 2023, the company secured approval to join the rigorous Global Trader Program under IE Singapore.
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic trading analyst individual to become an integral part of our dynamic team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage trade orders and coordinate trading execution.
- Ensure that all trades executed are entered accurately & completely into systems.
- Run the daily processes to ensure accurate /timely reporting of the trading position and estimated PnL to the traders.
- Independently monitor and execute trade during night hours (depends on the night shift schedule).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational Qualification: Degree or Above in Finance/Science/Engineering, or experience in the field. Fresh Graduates can also apply.
- Fast learner and quick thinker, highly independent and resourceful.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Mandarin Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Mandarin is essential, as it is necessary for communication with overseas banks and clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), especially Excel Formulas, and sensitive with numbers
- Interested in the oil trading industry
