Description:
Our client (Private Banking) is seeking a qualified Integration engineer to work on deployment activities, System administration (IBM Websphere) and CICD for the bank IT.
Work with the Run Team on ensuring that S2I systems for non-production (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT, etc) are available and functional.
- Work on incident management for environment and deployment issues.
- The candidate should also have solid experience in Jenkins, GitLab and XL Deploy pipeline design and implementation.
- Worked as a production L2 Engineer to ensure the run of the applications in his perimeter in the different environments (Production, UAT…)
Professional Competences (Know-How):
- Well-versed in GitLab and Jenkins framework for Packaging and Deployment.
- Should be able to debug release and deployment issues (Merge conflicts, Jenkins jobs, etc).
- Troubleshoot and investigate environment availability and performance issues.
- Able to automate dashboard reports, providing system status for Non-Prod environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Git flow and branching strategies
- Good inter-team collaboration skills for BAU and project initiatives.
- Experience with the ability to lead DevOps Activities and Implementations effectively across organizations and engagements.
- Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools
- Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes using tools like SVN, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible with Python.
- Experienced in the creation, integration and administration of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, and Nexus.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with Git, Nexus, Jenkins and XL Deploy and comfortable in maintaining and enhancing the code.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure for the WAS, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss, IHS Application servers and Webservers.
- Hands-on Experience with UNIX environment mainly Linux along with Windows OS is mandatory.
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes)
- Communication with users to gather DevOps requirements and analyse/address issues
Your profile:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as an integration engineer
- 2 to 3 years working in a Core Banking environment
- Well-versed in UNIX Scripting, Jenkins, GitLab, WAS Admin
- A good exposure to COBOL, MySQL and Jira is a strong plus.
