Responsibilities:
- Oversee all commercial aspects of construction projects, including contract negotiation, administration, and compliance.
- Independently handle Land Transport Authority (LTA) claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks related to contracts, claims, and project execution.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop effective strategies for claims preparation, defense, and resolution.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Lead and mentor commercial teams, ensuring optimal performance.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, permits, and licensing requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on project financials, claims status, and commercial performance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
- LTA Claims Experience
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, including FIDIC, SIA, or other relevant forms.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and project economics.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
